In addition to specialising in the field of hair surgery KÖ-HAIR is now also offering medical treatments to smooth away wrinkles – safely, gently and with minimum side effects. Botulinumtoxin, known for short as Botox®, is an active agent which is eminently suited to smoothing facial expression lines.
Botulinumtoxin has been used for medical purposes for around 20 years now and Botox® therapy is the world’s most popular aesthetic medicine treatment. The advantages of Botox® to remove wrinkles are as follows:
Your face will be visibly smoother and appear relaxed, rejuvenated and fresher. Treatments can be repeated as often as you wish.
Botox® is the ideal product to reduce wrinkles caused by facial expressions such as, for example, forehead wrinkles and frown lines around the bridge of the nose. It is also ideal for the removal of crow’s feet (pronounced laughter lines around the corners of the eyes).Turned-down mouths, also known as marionette lines, often require treatment with a combination of fillers (see hyaluronic acid) to achieve optimum results. The latest fields of treatment using Botox® also include highly prominent bunches of muscle on the throat or cleavage wrinkles.
All Botox® wrinkle treatments are based on our specialist doctor’s principle of “retaining a natural appearance”. KÖ-HAIR treatments thus exclude the risk of overcorrection and mask-like, frozen facial expressions.
In addition to its properties as a wrinkle remover current studies also confirm that Botox® is an efficient method of combatting hereditary hair loss. In cases of so-called stress-related hair loss (alopecia) the use of Botox® can halt hair loss and even stimulate the renewed natural growth of hair. Find out more about this topic in our “ News & Trends” section under the heading "Botox® to combat hair loss".
In addition to wrinkle formation another typical age-related process is loss of volume caused by the sagging of tissues. In aesthetic medicine so-called ‘fillers’, such as, for example, hyaluronic acid or own body fat, have proven to be effective in creating volume creators.
KÖ-HAIR’s doctors specialise in hyaluronic acid treatments and can thus achieve:
The effect is visible immediately and generally lasts for months or even years, since hyaluronic acid stimulates the formation of collagen. Hyaluronic acid is the product of choice for removing nasolabial folds; turned-down mouths (marionette wrinkles) and for the aesthetic modelling of lips/creation of volume. It can, however, also be used to “plump up” deep static wrinkles and bumps on other parts of the body.
Injections with both Botox® and also hyaluronic acid are virtually pain-free and gentle thanks to the innovative Pix'L hollow needle. Both forms of treatment can – depending on the area of treatment – also be combined with one another.
